My name is Ben Church. I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm an athlete, creative, and a storyteller to my core. My passions lie in challenging physical endeavors and bringing brands to life. Through endurance sports, CrossFit, and surfing, I've taken on challenges like running the Grand Canyon and completing multiple marathons. These experiences have helped influence and strengthen my mindset and approach to both work and life.
Over the past four-plus years, I've led marketing efforts in the technology industry, helping companies articulate who they are and why they matter. From my experience, I have seen that the best brands don't happen overnight. They're designed to solve real problems, built to serve the customer, and held together by a strong sense of purpose and community.
Being in your twenties can be chaotic, filled with questions, change, and the pressure to figure it all out. I'm currently navigating this process, chasing ambitious physical goals while also working to build a meaningful career. This site is my way of documenting my journey. I don't have all the answers. However, I hope that by sharing my journey, I can spark connection, clarity, and maybe even a bit of inspiration for others on a similar path.
Challenging physical endeavors have shaped the way I approach life. They’ve taught me that grit and consistency matter more than quick wins. Real progress is built over time through a disciplined process.
Surfing has been part of my life for over 15 years. It’s more than a sport — it’s a source of solitude, a therapeutic outlet through life’s highs and lows, and a reason to explore some of the most beautiful parts of the world.
For the past four years, marketing has served as my creative and strategic outlet. I have helped early-stage companies define themselves, express their value, and execute growth strategies.
